This camera, for all practical purposes, is a point-and-shoot. You’re allowed just one “setting” which is the ability to set the focus based on distance to your subject (and the film speed, of course). Even though there is a numerical scale on the bottom side of the lens, what you typically have as your options is: mountain, three-person family, one person from waist up, and (presumably the same person) but shoulders and up. And from the first roll I gotta say… you don’t need any other settings. This thing will do its job consistently while giving you the freedom to look around, compose, and actually catch a cool shot instead of fiddling with knobs and worrying if it’ll come out alright.
